Daniel Razon’s first nationally-released harmonic venture is his All My Life album, released in 2007. Launched at the Meralco Theatre during the historic Manila Peninsula siege, Daniel’s debut album showcased his kind of voice and his love for public service. The album’s proceeds funded for the several public service endeavors through UNTV because Daniel is there, such as the free clinic, legal center, and medical missions.
Produced by Breakthrough and Milestones Productions Inc. and EMI Records, the All My Life album includes songs that showcases Daniel’s vocal versatility. Songs like What Matters Most, Just the Way You Are, Out Here On My Own, Lean On Me and She’s Out of My Life appeal to the romantic in all of us.
The carrier single All My Life, one of the chart-topping songs in the album, swayed the young and old alike as it resounded on radio stations in the country. The album features another carrier single composed by Krist Melecio entitled In My Eyes, a catchy song with a touch of wistfulness that charmed its way to the charts as well.
The platinum record-holder All My Life was so well-received that the 21st Awit Awards endowed Daniel with the trophy as the people’s favorite New Male Artist.
His first attempt at a musical career was so successful, people thought that it would be impossible for Daniel to top it off. But Daniel proved everyone wrong when he released the Isang Araw Lang (Just One Day) album. This album named after the advocacy managed to get a gold record on the first day of its release – a definite first in Philippine music history!
Daniel’s successful second album was released in the YCONCON: Isang Araw Lang concert on August 17, 2009. Aside from the carrier single Isang Araw Lang composed by Krist Melecio, the album also features modern OPM classics such as So Many Questions, Your Love, Habang May Buhay, With a Smile, Huwag Na Lang Kaya, I’ll Never Go, Forevermore, Tag-ulan, and Hold On.
Both albums became overnight sensations because of a shared goal – philanthropy. Daniel’s Isang Araw Lang album was created to raise funds for the very first free college in Manila. The La Verdad Christian College will offer free nursing and mass communication degrees to deserving scholars.
