The Philippine National Police Community Relations Group (PCRG) awarded UNTV for playing a notable part in bridging the gap between the police and the citizens while Kuya Daniel Razon, UNTV-BMPI Chairman and CEO, was invited to be the honorary guest speaker.
PCRG is celebrating its 23rd founding anniversary this month.
UNTV-BMPI CEO Kuya Daniel Razon assured the police force that the Public Service Channel is open to whatever service it can do to help.
“For our part, you can expect that we’ll do all that we can to show that many policemen are still faithful to their sworn duty,” the veteran broadcast journalist asserted.
UNTV, recently rebranded as UNTV Life, has been consistently supporting PCRG’s community outreach efforts by giving free airtime to its two weekly programs. UNTV is home for “Pulis @ Ur Serbis (Police at your Service)” and “Serbisyong Pulis, Serbisyong Makatotohanan (Police Service, Truthful Service),” shows that tackle the PNP’s projects and accomplishments.
On his speech at the PNP Multi-Purpose Center in Camp Crame last August 3, Kuya Daniel also called for heightened synergy between the PNP and the people.
“In every thing that is good, we should get involved to achieve the policemen’s goals to get closer to the citizens of the country through the former’s performance of their duties” said Kuya Daniel. “It would be great if all of us who are here will tell our families to help our police force. Let’s join them.”
Underscoring the police’s competence in helping keep the community safe would not be enough without God’s help, Kuya Daniel stressed that the best thing to do is to pray together.
“Let us all strengthen our faith and our connection to God who is more capable of keeping us safe.”
