In the recent medical and dental outreach mounted by UNTV News and Rescue early in February, there were a total of 131 residents of Barangay Sto Rosario, Pandi Bulacan who received help from the outreach.

Meanwhile, there were 64 male students from Ramona Trillana High School in Hagonoy, Bulacan who received free haircut from this public service undertaking by UNTV, in cooperation with some non-government organization partners like the Members Church of God International (MCGI).

Apart from making the medical and dental outreach accessible to the residents of Sto. Rosario, Kuya Daniel Razon’s public service efforts through UNTV also provided free blood sugar testing and massage.

Big Help for the Needy

One of the mothers who lined up for the medical mission, Mary Rose Santiago said she appreciated UNTV’s efforts to extend help to residents of Pandi, Bulacan.

I am grateful that we were given the opportunity to have a check-up with a doctor”, said Santiago, who consulted with volunteer doctors of the event about her nape aches.

She added that the pain could be due to her high blood pressure. Santiago also availed of the services from UNTV for treatment of her child with recurring fever and colds.

My child has fever and cold. If I were to bring my child to a doctor in Pandi, I could not afford that. Here the services are free, so we came here,” she said.

Meanwhile, Christopher Moreno and his friend Gerry Tecson, also residents of Pandi Bulacan, were grateful for UNTV’s free dental service. Moreno said his free tooth extraction would not be possible without this charitable cause.

Free Haircut for Male Students

Ramona Trillana High School principal Rosario Tamayo expressed her delight for this public charity effort as this helps students comply with the school policy on the prescribed haircut for male students.

One big help this extended to our students is the free haircut, especially, for those who cannot follow the proper haircut required by the school.”, Tamayo  lauded of the UNTV and Kuya Daniel’s public service concept.

John Bryan Bandolin, a student from Ramona Trillana High School, thanked Kuya Daniel for providing their school a free haircut service. “I am thankful for the free haircut brought by Kuya Daniel Razon.”

Kuya Daniel Razon, also known as Mr. Public Service, is known for various innovative public service concepts such as this outreach, charity-cum-basketball league UNTV Cup, and many others.
