Double: A Dinner Concert for a Cause
More than a thousand attended the private event at the Manila Hotel Pavilion. The night’s special guests include OPM artist Joey Albert and impersonator Willie Nepomuceno.
Nepomuceno tickled laughs from the audience with his humorous acts portraying Comedy King Dolphy and President Noynoy Aquino.
Filling the night with classics of Frank Sinatra, Kuya Daniel belted out “My Way” and “Strangers in the Night,” among others. Bro. Eli, who has been out of the country for almost a decade because of evangelization works, told how he misses Philippines through Hotdog’s Manila.
Child wonder Bedel Dimalanta, a 12-year old granddaughter of Bro. Eli, also showcased her budding vocal talent with Beyonce’s Halo and Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You.
A Celebration of Thanksgiving
For the fruitful 31 years after receiving baptism on November 28 at MCGI, he will be offering thanksgiving to God on Saturday (November 29) this year.
As what he iterates over and over, Kuya Daniel is indepted to God to each success of his projects and every opportunity he receives to help others. One wish he said recently for his 31st, Kuya Daniel prayed “that the One up there will never forsake me. [Because] when you have God in your life, you already have everything.”
