Kuya Daniel Razon and UNTV News and Rescue’s Serbisyong Kasangbahay program won the Filipinos’ votes on outstanding public service as the National Customers’ Choice Awards 2016 named their awardees.

BMPI-UNTV CEO and Chairman Kuya Daniel was lauded with Achievement Award in Television and Public Service while his afternoon show, Serbisyong Kasangbahay, earned the Most Outstanding and Trusted Public Service Program award.

Grateful for the laurels, the seasoned broadcaster added, “All glory is to the the Lord who gives us good opportunities to render services, to do our small parts.”

“For us, we cannot do all these without God’s help,” Kuya Daniel stated, citing UNTV’s public service efforts.

The BMPI-UNTV CEO also assured the public that with or without recognition, UNTV will strive to do with patience “what little things we can do to contribute in public service and in broadcasting, whatever we can share to our fellowmen.”

Serbisyong Kasangbahay, the flagship public service oriented program of UNTV conceptualized and hosted by Kuya Daniel, gives all-around assistance to different concerns such as medical, legal and even government service inquiries to its viewers.

The program, which airs from Monday through Friday, at 4:30-5:45 p.m. (PHT), has partnerships with government and private groups and companies to deliver public service fast and convenient to people.

Meanwhile, UNTV’s Doctors on TV, a medical show providing health information and free on-TV consultation, was also named the Most Outstanding and Trusted Medical TV Show during the awards night. Conceptualized by Kuya Daniel, the show is a reality-based medical show in the country.

The National Customers’ Choice Awards annually selects its winners by conducting a satisfaction survey among Filipinos of the services rendered by a company or an organization.

This year’s edition was held on December 6 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ortigas Center, Quezon City. The National Customers Choice Annual Awards give recognition to outstanding Filipinos, entrepreneurs, businesses and companies for their excellence in company reputation, experience, integrity, product quality and customers’ trustworthiness.
