BMPI CEO and President Kuya Daniel Razon explained the very reason of the launch of Wishcovery following the grand finals of the online singing competition at the Big Dome, Quezon City.
“Our country already has a bounty of amazing artists. I believe that we’ll never run out of musical gems,” remarked Kuya Daniel, adding “This the very reason why we launched Wishcovery.”
Wishcovery began its talent search with on-ground and online auditions last September 2017. The online singing competition was an original concept by Kuya Daniel Razon.
The aim of Wishcovery is to discover fresh musical talents while making the wishers’ dreams come true.
“All that we’ve seen and heard this evening would not have been possible if not for Him who has given musical skills and talents to these wonderful artists,” further remarked the innovator of the Wish Bus and Wishcovery concepts.
First Wishcovery Winner
Wishful wild card finalist Princess Sevillena was hailed as the first ever grand champion of the online singing competition launched by FM radio station Wish 107.5. She thanked Wish 107.5 for giving her the chance to reach her dreams and achieve more of her wishes.
“As I continue my journey with you, I promise to not stop learning. I will be the performer that you expect me to be,” said Sevillena.
She bested other wishfuls, namely Carmela Ariola, Kimberly Baluzo, Hacel Bartolome, and Louie Anne Culala during all five “Wish rounds” during the grand finals. The different rounds of the competition include solo performances of a medley of OPM songs and a live collaborative performance of the finalists, among other.
