The highly anticipated third installment of Isang Araw 3 The Movie starring and directed by Kuya Daniel Razon began its location shooting on September 26 this year in Tagaytay, Philippines, much to the eagerness of its actors and crew.

Multi-talented media personality Kuya Daniel, who has also written the script for all three movie parts, injected timely and relevant topics in the storyboard to capture the urgency of current dilemmas in society and politics.

Casts Speak of the Aim of Film

Bayani Agbayani, who has played as the mainstay sidekick of Kuya Daniel since the debut film, expressed his positive thoughts about Isang Araw 3 The Movie, “First and foremost, this is not commercialized and he [Kuya Daniel] is doing it for love because the theme and content of the movie aim to help the viewers.”

During production last September 26, Bayani told UNTV News and Rescue, “You will get curious to watch the movie because you would want to know what’s really happening in our society. So if you would notice, the production has really done a research. They know what the public needs to watch, that the public should learn something, that there is something deeper to discover.”

Plot Twists, Surprise Attack of Kuya Daniel

Twice appearing in the Isang Araw installments, Jess Lapid said that moviegoers will be entertained due to the genius screenplay courtesy of Kuya Daniel, “My character was so far from the 2, as of now. It is like there’s a big twist. My character is somewhat lighter as of now. But we still don’t know if there would be a twist. You know Kuya, he always has a surprise attack that would just come out.”

Marlo Mortel, the son of Kuya Daniel in the film, shared on set, “I am a good boy here. I stand for what is right. So I need to fight for whatever is right. This is really a different role for me because I usually do sweet role. Sometimes I do drama, but this one, I will play the role of a youth who could be a hope in the future.”

Isang Araw 3 The Movie is expected to be another huge success just like its predecessors Isang Araw Lang and Isang Araw, which premiered in 2009 and 2014, respectively.
