Kuya Daniel Visits Senior Care Center in Singapore

Public service advocate Kuya Daniel Razon visited an elder care facility in Singapore to distribute gifts on March 3 this year.

The CEO and President of Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International (BMPI) vowed, together with Bro. Eli Soriano of the Members Church of God (MCGI), to continue helping with God’s help the residents of SilverACE Senior Activity Center in Singapore.

“If there are things that you think we can do for you as well, please let us know so that we can at least grant small wishes of our elderlies here in this facility,” said Kuya Daniel to the administrators of the elder care facility.

Five Years of Continuous Support

 

In the past five years, MCGI has been giving assistance to SilverACE Senior Activity Center, which include gift-giving and light entertainment to the residents.

Senior Citizens were ecstatic to see Kuya Daniel in person as they have been longing to thank him for the service of MCGI to the facility for the past few years.

During his visit, Kuya Daniel gladly greeted each senior residents of SilverACE and distributed his gifts for them. The residents turned more thrilled when the veteran broadcast journalist posed with them to take pictures, as well as give them hugs.

Ms. Betty Yeo Bee Lian, Program Coordinator of the facility, shared how the elderlies appreciated the visit. “They can see the sincerity, the love that you have showered them,” she exclaimed to Kuya Daniel.

To show their heartfelt gratitude to Kuya, the facility gave him a personalized present that was sewn by a 90-year-old elderly.

“We always pray for your good health and that God give you blessings and guide you in your days to come..Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity,” remarked Kuya Daniel.

SilverACE Senior Activity Center in Lengkok Bahru

SilverACE is a community center for senior citizens under the company NTUC Health. One of the locations is in Lengkok Bahru, where Kuya Daniel dropped by.

The center provides an opportunity for senior citizens living around the area to interact with fellow peers and give each other mutual support.

The center aims to create friendships between elderlies, create a communal space for social and recreational activities, and provide health assistance along with volunteers of the community.

MCGI volunteers from Singapore have recently been awarded by the facility with an Appreciation Award in August of 2017 for their unwavering commitment and endeavors to support the elderlies.

Moreover, MCGI volunteers continuously provide elderlies with free food, light entertainment, and companionship.
