Knowing his dedication to public service works, Kuya Daniel Razon recently launched the BMPI Recording Studio that the veteran broadcaster stressed was geared for the purpose of sustaining the public service initiatives started at UNTV.
Kuya Daniel believes that the addition of the facility will be helpful in producing music albums as well as sound and music tracks for BMPI’s concert events, television and movie productions. The Chairman and CEO of Breakthrough and Milestones Production International is himself a renowned singer-composer.
With his track in public service, it is not surprising that Kuya Daniel will intend the establishment of the recording facility to once again benefit many indigents who look up to the public service host as an inspiration and committed servant even without receiving any compensation from mounting these projects.
“We really need to find ways to sustain (public service),” the veteran broadcaster explained during the launch of the newest facility during UNTV’s year-end coverage and public service last December 31, 2012. Now with the Recording Studio, it will at least help Kuya Daniel achieve and implement some of his public service ideas.
The televised ribbon cutting and inauguration of the recording studio was led by Mr. Bobby Delos Santos, head of UNTV’s Engineering Department, also during the height of the station’s year-end coverage dubbed as “Repaso 2012.”
Located at the 1st floor of La Verdad Christian College in Caloocan City, the recording studio was designed by Kuya Daniel with the key help of composer-musical director Mon Del Rosario. The studio has the standard control and live rooms of a usual recording facility but is also three-in-one as a digital multi-track recording facility, a rehearsal studio, and an audio-video post-production studio.
With the new recording studio, more music albums are expected to be produced and distributed. But about that proceeds that can be derived from the use of the Recording Studio, it is not surprising they will be used to augment to some costs of UNTV’s charity works.
The ASOP TV is one of UNTV shows that will primarily benefit from the advantage of having the facility. ASOP TV is a songwriting competition in serious search for the best song of praise. In the past, BMPI has produced albums like “ASOP,” “Testbroadcast,” and Kuya Daniel’s “All my Life” and “Isang Araw Lang (Just One Day)” – all prior to the introduction of the new recording studio.
Since 2010, UNTV’s year-end coverage has been a venue in unveiling novel advocacies and in inaugurating new facilities. UNTV Radio and UNTV News and Rescue Command Center were both launched as part of the station’s year-end specials.
