Daniel Razon Receives New Public Service Award

This is how Movie Writers Welfare Foundation (MWWF) president Emy Abuan described veteran broadcaster Daniel Razon for continuously helping the marginalized with his public service programs.
Abuan led the awarding recently of Gintong Palad Public Service Award to Razon or Kuya Daniel for his relief efforts to the victims of earthquake and Supertyphoon Yolanda in Visayas.
MWWF also credited Kuya Daniel, who is also the current CEO and Chairman of UNTV-BMPI, for his help in setting up of the office of the movie writers group.
Along with Kuya Daniel, other prominent celebrities and personalitieswho were honored by the MWWF include Alfred Vargas, Wilson Tieng, and Gov. E. R. Ejercito.
Kamanggagawa Foundation, an avid supporter of the public service works of UNTV and Ang Dating Daan, was also acknowledged by MWWF for its works in social welfare.
Razon through UNTV and Kamanggagawa Foundation maintain transient homes and orphanages, “Clinic ni Kuya”, medical mission, “Kilos ni Kuya”, and “Munting Pangarap”, a grant-giving program for starting a small business.
The Foundation also assist in providing medical and dental mission for MWWF members.
Established in 1998, MWWF aims to take care of movie entertainment press members’ health needs.
