For his latest award, it was Kuya Daniel Razon’s bold move for innovative concept in the music industry that has been recognized and celebrated. Last June 12, MEGA named the BMPI-UNTV CEO and President its awardee for the The New PH Award for Music.

Given during the MEGA magazine’s annual MEGA Millennial Ball glittery and prestigious event, the publication celebrated Kuya Daniel’s contribution in making a tangible difference in the lives of Filipinos and the media.

“This is the simple albeit, genius concept that has propelled Wish 107.5 to a pop culture phenomenon,” wrote MEGA’s Inside Showbiz PH about the veteran broadcast journalist’s contribution in the broadcast industry, particularly in the field of music.

For his thorough and innovative concept, MEGA acknowledged Kuya Daniel’s vision in leading BMPI and introducing innovations in the music industry, as well as broadcast media through FM radio station Wish 107.5.

Meanwhile, Kuya Daniel underscored the risks and challenges he faces when embarking on a big project. “We take risks all the time and we believe that it is the only way to move further and beyond.”

“When we took over the management of Wish 107.5, we were in an unsure predicament if our lease will be renewed in the building where the station is housed. Hence, I thought of why not make it mobile, so I did not need to worry about transfers. I will be assured that we will be able to broadcast anywhere,” said the BMPI-UNTV CEO and President.

Wish 107.5 Bus

When it started, Wish 107.5 became the country’s first and only FM-on-wheels through what is now popularly known as the Wish Bus.

The Pambansang Wish Bus soon became one of the most-sought after performance stage among the country’s iconic and emerging acts. Eventually, Wish Bus brought music where the listening public are – malls, streets, roads, and parks.

Wishclusives

Wishclusives is one of the most anticipated content from Wish 107.5, where new tracks or songs are performed for the first time in the airwaves and uploaded on the radio station’s YouTube channel. Pure talent is highlighted when the artists perform onboard the Wish Bus.

Wish granting

The FM station hosts “Wishing Walls” in different areas to accept even the simplest of wishes from people of all walks of life. Wish 107.5 then selects and prioritizes to grant wishes from indigents.

Wish 107.5 Music Awards

The station aims to pay tribute to acts and artists who have given significant contributions in the country’s vibrant music scene. The winning artists will then share cash donations to their chosen beneficiaries.

Wishcovery

The station invites amateur and promising talents to join its talent discovery contest – Wishcovery. This online singing contest is open to singers (18 years old and above) who are not under any record label or management.

Wish 107.5 App and Wish Card

Tagged as on of the “newest and coolest cards in the Philippines”, the Wish Card, allows users to earn points and exchange it for some products and services from ish 107.5’s brand partners. The Wish 107.5 mobile app, meanwhile, is packed with exciting features, such as live audio streaming, news feed updates, and an access to more Wishclusive contents.

Award-winning FM Station

Wish 107.5 was named ‘FM Radio Station of the Year’ at LPU’s Umalohokjuan Media Awards on March this year. It also received Most Outstanding Broadcasting and Media Production Company from the National Customers’ Choice Awards 2018

It was honored the “Most Innovative and Outstanding Radio Broadcasting Production” Award at the Best Choice Awards 2017, while it earned the ‘Innovative FM Radio Broadcasting’ award during the Platinum Stallion Media Awards 2017.

Meanwhile, Wish 107.5’s Kuya Daniel Razon was the youngest recipient of the KBP Lifetime Achievement Award during the 25th KBP Golden Dove Awards.
